Mercy Hospital Springfield is excited to continue this annual pediatric trauma symposium in honor and memory of Tucker Redfern. Tucker was the 21-year-old son of the Dr. David Redfern family and was tragically killed in an automobile accident on December 10, 2012. Trauma is the leading cause of childhood death and disability. However, pediatric trauma care continues to pose significant and unique challenges.
This one-day symposium will provide the health care practitioner with up-to-date clinical information for the management of injured children and their families. Current issues will be addressed across the continuum of trauma care.
Conference size is limited.
Please bring a cell phone, tablet, laptop or other device that will connect to the internet to participate in pre & post evaluations for continuing education credits.
Registration by Friday, March 10, 2017 is encouraged. A $25 processing fee will be deducted from all cancellation requests made before Friday, March 10, 2017. No refunds will be made thereafter. If Mercy cancels the symposium a full refund will be issued. The liability of Mercy is limited to the symposium fee. Mercy will not be responsible for any losses incurred by registrants including, but not limited to, airline cancellation charges or hotel deposits. Layered clothing is recommended to allow for room temperature variations. For additional information, please contact Mercy Talent Development and Optimization at (417) 820-3005 or SPRG_TDO@Mercy.net.
